Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment
- Load/unload trucks and containers with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Manage inventory through scanning and accurate record-keeping
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to meet OSHA standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily targets
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Train new hires on safe operating procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse settings
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
