Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Assist in warehouse organization and space utilization strategies
- Train new operators on safe equipment operation procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
