Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse setting
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of material movements
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow and productivity
- Assist in general warehouse tasks including packing, sorting, and quality checks
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
