Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety protocols
- Manage inventory counts and document movements using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times
- Train new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Valid OSHA Forklift Operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license preferred
