Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Verify inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in the packaging, palletizing, and preparation of goods for shipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or damages immediately to management.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the New York facility.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
