Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials, load/unload trucks, and organize warehouse inventory
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train new hires on safe forklift operation procedures
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits as required
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
