Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Load/unload shipments with precision and maintain accurate inventory records
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Operate in climate-controlled facility with modern equipment
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for task documentation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 2 years of industrial forklift experience (sit-down/stand-up)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexibility to work nights (6 PM - 6 AM) with overtime availability
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- WMS system familiarity preferred
