Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to transport goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring aisles are clear and equipment is stored properly.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Assist with inventory control, including scanning and logging stock movements accurately.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job forklift training and obtain certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory and weighing purposes.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license (not required for the job but often preferred).
