As a Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for safely moving materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to all safety protocols. This is a physically active role requiring attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods within warehouse and storage areas
- Load/unload trucks and containers efficiently while ensuring proper stacking and securing of materials
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and documentation
- Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist with warehouse organization and housekeeping duties
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
- High school diploma or equivalent
