Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials in warehouse/dock settings
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Load/unload trucks and organize inventory systematically
- Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets
- Complete accurate documentation for inventory and shipments
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Reliable transportation to worksite
- Flexible availability including weekends/overtime
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
