Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated areas, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not always required for reliable candidates.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging work activities.
