Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in warehouse/distribution settings
- Load/unload shipments with attention to inventory accuracy and damage prevention
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain organized storage areas following FIFO principles
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
- Assist in inventory audits and documentation processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year verifiable forklift operation experience (sit-down and stand-up models)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required at hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background/driving record checks
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
