Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Accurately load and unload trucks, verify shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, conduct daily pre-shift inspections on equipment, and report any hazards immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment to ensure smooth operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and accurate inventory handling.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
