Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) protocols
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and OSHA compliance standards
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment before/during shifts
- Collaborate with team to optimize warehouse workflow and productivity
- Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory in designated zones
- Document daily operations and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Willingness to work flexible weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
