Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated storage areas to ensure maximum space utilization and easy retrieval.
- Secure cargo on trailers and trucks to ensure safe transport during transit.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document and report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher).
