Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company procedures to prevent accidents
- Manage inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and inventory management
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and documentation
