Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and materials efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and report equipment maintenance needs to prevent downtime
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production goals
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and safety
- Train new team members on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift experience in warehouse/logistics
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Flexible schedule availability including potential weekend overtime
- Valid Tennessee driver's license preferred
