Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning and data entry
- Inspect and prepare shipments for timely dispatch while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and minimize delays
- Operate warehouse management systems to track material movements and stock levels
- Uphold 5S standards for a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse/material handling role
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Basic proficiency with inventory management software and barcode scanners
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and overtime as needed
