Responsibilities
- Accurate Picking: Retrieve customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners and pick lists to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Secure Packing: Safely package items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Labeling & Scanning: Apply shipping labels, scan barcodes, and verify order details using handheld scanners.
- Inventory Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor organized, ensuring aisles are clear and inventory is stored according to safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for defects or damage before packing and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable learning to use handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Safety Conscious: Adherence to all safety guidelines and warehouse regulations.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
