Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
- Manage inventory levels and track shipments using WMS/TMS systems
- Collaborate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve logistics issues
- Prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms) with 100% accuracy
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Act as primary point of contact for clients regarding shipment status and inquiries
- Implement sustainable shipping practices to reduce environmental impact
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
