Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations across multiple carriers
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, certificates)
- Optimize freight routes to reduce costs by 15-20%
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams on inventory allocation
- Implement and maintain WMS/TMS system protocols
- Generate performance reports for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS (SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder preferred)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs regulations
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments under tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Lean Six Sigma or CSCP certification (highly preferred)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license (required for site visits)
