Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise accurately to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Quality Control: Perform cycle counts and regular audits to ensure data accuracy and inventory integrity.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and clutter-free at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and maintain accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and demonstrate punctuality.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
