Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas, vehicles, and loading docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify merchandise against bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Pack and seal containers for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and handling instructions are followed.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic reading and math skills for scanning barcodes and verifying shipments.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical labor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
