Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently select and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load/Unload Operations: Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards before dispatch.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for entry-level candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners is highly desirable.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team setting.
- Legal: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
