Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move packages, pallets, and other materials safely using hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Packing & Labeling: Accurately pack items for shipment and apply proper shipping labels and documentation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and recording location data.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of damage.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in a warehouse environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping data.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Basic English language skills required for reading safety labels and communicating with supervisors.
