Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select items for orders and package them securely for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels using scanning equipment and inventory control systems.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy materials within the warehouse.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- License: Valid driver's license and forklift certification (if required by state).
- Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to read and understand work orders.
