Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and label products for shipment using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners to move materials around the warehouse.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure product integrity and compliance with safety standards.
- Stock Maintenance: Organize warehouse aisles, shelves, and storage areas to maximize efficiency and ensure safe navigation.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare pallets for shipping and load trucks according to loading plans and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform heavy physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- License: Valid forklift certification is required; we provide training for qualified candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
