Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Efficiently operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move stock, parts, and materials within the warehouse and to and from aircraft, shipping lanes, and loading docks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure 99.9% order accuracy.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records by inspecting stock and logging quantities.
- Receiving: Unload incoming shipments, verify contents against bills of lading, and inspect for damage before processing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Licensure: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (we provide training for the right candidates).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and ability to read and understand work instructions and safety labels.
- Reliability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
