Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Load Management: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred; on-the-job training provided for motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with barcode scanners or WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class C) is a plus but not mandatory.
