Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Perform receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy, documenting any discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Load and unload trucks accurately, ensuring proper placement of goods on pallets and racks.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and update stock counts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training is provided.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential for inventory accuracy.
- Forklift certification (if applicable to role) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
