Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders to meet daily shipping deadlines.
- Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify contents against packing slips.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to resolve workflow issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for entry-level roles.
- Experience: No previous warehouse experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
