Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to move stock within the warehouse.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all packaging meets company standards.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to support supply chain accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Stock Organization: Keep warehouse aisles clear and organize stock to optimize workflow and retrieval efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (preferred but willing to train certified candidates).
