Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move, locate, and stock merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using our state-of-the-art WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare, package, and label shipments according to customer specifications and carrier guidelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Customer Service: Assist with answering customer inquiries regarding order status and product availability when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods. Ability to work in various weather conditions if applicable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation and be available to work a full-time schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
