Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently select, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and heavy materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock accuracy.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces (concrete, dock plates).
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Driving: Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Attitude: Proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills.
