Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move products efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts, cycle counts, and manage inventory logs using WMS systems.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking, packing, and labeling products for shipment.
- Receiving and Staging: Inspect incoming shipments for damages, verify counts against packing slips, and stage materials for processing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is a plus.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate a busy warehouse environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) is an asset.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
