Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and relocate items within the warehouse.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure efficient workflow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on machinery and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and walk on uneven surfaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
