Responsibilities
- Accurately scan, sort, and package incoming shipments using barcode scanners and labeling systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided) to move inventory within the warehouse
- Maintain organized storage areas and implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory rotation
- Conduct quality control checks on products before shipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts as required
Qualifications
- No prior warehouse experience required – we provide comprehensive training!
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
- Reliable transportation to our Detroit facility
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
