Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload merchandise from trucks and delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, accurately count stock, and maintain organized storage areas.
- Picking and Packing: Prepare orders for shipment by picking items, assembling packages, and labeling them correctly.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery (Forklift, Scissor Lift) in accordance with safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- General Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Reliability: Must be dependable with a proven track record of attendance.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counts and order verification.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- No Experience Required: We are looking for candidates eager to learn and willing to be trained.
