Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently move goods in and out of the warehouse using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing stock against packing lists to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage customer orders according to strict quality standards and timelines.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and maintain proper certifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse workspace to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Reporting: Assist in daily cycle counts and inventory audits as directed by the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus but not required.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and willing to work in a fast-paced team environment.
