Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and organizing stock areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages and discrepancies, reporting issues immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders efficiently to meet daily shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work the overnight shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and preparing shipments.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- License: Valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
