Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks and delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy, and report discrepancies immediately.
- Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper documentation is included.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory levels and stock locations.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as directed by management.
- Operate handheld scanners (RF guns) to scan barcodes and verify order details.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory tracking.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity goals.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
