Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Utilize handheld PDAs (scanners) to accurately pick and pack products based on customer orders.
- Packaging: Inspect items for damage and securely package them to ensure they arrive safely during transit.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels and report discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
- Workspace Organization: Keep your designated workstations and aisles clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Verify that the correct items and quantities are included in every shipment before it leaves the warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided).
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or fulfillment center environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a climate-controlled environment.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software or scanning systems quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- License: Valid driver's license preferred.
