Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move stock and materials.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and processed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies to management promptly.
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and clean, ensuring proper storage of all goods.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift operator certification is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Basic Computer Skills: Ability to use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
