Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy stock and organize the warehouse efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report any maintenance issues with warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Load/Unload Operations: Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks, verifying shipment contents against packing lists.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
