Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and stock within the facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting cycle counts to ensure stock levels match system data.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep workstations and aisles clean and organized to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday, including holidays as needed).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate a warehouse environment.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and attention to detail are essential.
- Certifications: Forklift certification (if required) must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
