Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and manage stock placement in the warehouse system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with speed and accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or defects.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- License: Valid driver's license (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
