Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques
- Inspect products for damage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Operate warehouse equipment following safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading efficiency and meet deadlines
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure operational safety
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
