Responsibilities
- Load/unload shipments with precision using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling
- Verify inventory counts and documentation against packing slips
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain daily inspection logs
- Organize storage areas to optimize space utilization and accessibility
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid Alaska driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in cold environments and various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
