As a Warehouse Loader, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that products are processed, packaged, and shipped efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers with accuracy and speed using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies, reporting issues immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to scan items, update inventory counts, and log package details.
- Package goods securely using shrink-wrap, tape, and padding to prevent damage during transit.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and workflow goals.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctioning machinery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and work in various weather conditions (if applicable).
- Forklift certification is highly desirable.
