Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload shipments
- Inspect and maintain assigned equipment daily for safety and functionality
- Organize warehouse inventory according to company standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Report equipment malfunctions and warehouse safety concerns to supervisors
- Assist with inventory counts and documentation of received goods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-sponsored certification
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
